Eiko ishioka was a Japanese art and constume director born in 1938 in Tokyo and died in 2012.

Eiko Ishioka was responsible for the design of the Winter Olympic team wear for the Swiss, Canadian, Japanese and Spanish teams at the 2002 Winter Olympics at Salt Lake City.


Ishioka was the costume designer for the Beijing Olympics in 2008.


Her loss in the fashion industry is greatly felt worldwide as she was a great influence to her fellow peers.
